Unexpected Positive Outcomes

“Well, this is a bit of a tangent, but she hosted a Galentine’s Day party at the office. Did you all know about that? So, I got to meet a whole new group of women, and it turned out to be a very supportive community. Interestingly, I found out that I had friends in common with some of these ladies. It created an incredibly supportive female community, which isn’t always easy to come by.

Ironically, one of the most supportive female community groups in the city was Barre Method in my neighborhood. It’s closed now, and we all really miss it. It was a place where women, whether going through pregnancy, the prenatal and postnatal stages, or of all ages, came together to build a strong community. Some of those women were actually at the Galentine’s Day event.

As I mentioned, the connections reached far and wide. A friend of mine who’s a realtor in Honor is also connected to that group. So, creating a positive female community experience was something I wouldn’t have initially expected.”
