At Deschamps-Braly Clinic, facial gender-affirming surgery has always meant more than changing features; it’s about helping people feel seen, affirmed, and empowered to live as their authentic selves. That philosophy is at the heart of our Pay It Forward program and our new docuseries, Seeing Her™.

This series features remarkable individuals in the transgender and gender-diverse community whose lives are defined by service to others. Through honest storytelling and intimate moments, Seeing Her™ captures what happens when compassion, community, and gender-affirming care come together.

The Heart Behind the Pay-It-Forward Program

We created the Pay It Forward program to honor people who dedicate themselves to volunteer service and advocacy for the transgender community. Their efforts have a profound impact on uplifting others—these are the mentors, advocates, and activists who create safer spaces, offer guidance, and help others find their footing during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Through this program, selected recipients receive all-expenses-paid gender-affirming facial surgery, made possible by the Deschamps-Braly Clinic’s donation. Our aim is to acknowledge the leaders within the community and recognize the profound impact they have on the lives around them.

What Seeing Her™ Is Really About

Seeing Her™ follows the journeys of two Pay It Forward recipients from their personal histories to their surgical experiences and recovery. The series offers an intimate look at what gender-affirming facial surgery can mean on a deeply human level. Viewers see moments of vulnerability, courage, joy, and reflection. These are not just medical transformations but also stories of self-recognition and identity reclamation in a world that hasn’t always made space for them.
