“I’ve mostly interacted with D and Andy, and they’re incredibly warm and helpful. When you call to make an appointment, it’s as if they have nothing better to do in the world than make your life easy and schedule around you. When you arrive, they greet you warmly and seem genuinely prepared for your visit. The customer service here is truly authentic.
In contrast, I’ve been to other renowned places in the city and visited destination spas across the country, including Mexico and Hawaii. Most of the time, you wonder if the person on the phone is even qualified to help you, and you worry if you’ll get an appointment. Then, when you arrive, they seem surprised to see you. It’s the opposite of the experience here.
As for the treatments from Jenn, they have the most impact and effectiveness. I’ve always been more interested in outcomes than pampering. I’ve had needling done at other places, and while I haven’t had IPL before, I can’t compare it to a baseline. Jenn focuses on value and recommends the treatment that will give the best and longest-lasting results for your money.
For instance, Jenn has always recommended disport as a filler, and I appreciate that consistency. She checks in with you to understand your primary concerns and what’s bothering you the most, rather than pushing new treatments on you. This is in contrast to my experience at other places where they try to sell you everything on the menu, regardless of your preferences.”
“She’s very communicative, both during appointments and through email. She prepares me for potential factors like sun sensitivity or downtime, allowing me to plan and schedule accordingly.
I was pleasantly surprised that needling did have some recovery time. Before I looked amazing, there was a day when I didn’t look so great, but I only needed to stay in for one day. She had me prepared for a slightly longer downtime, but it was well-organized. She also addresses concerns about photo sensitivity and guides me through what to expect during the experience.
In my interactions with her, I’ve never been taken by surprise, shocked, or frightened. It’s always a smooth and well-communicated process.”
“Well, one of the greatest aspects of meeting with Jennifer for a service is that it feels like chatting with an old friend or a girlfriend. She’s down-to-earth and warm. “Well, this is a bit of a tangent, but she hosted a Galentine’s Day party at the office. Did you all know about that? So, I got to meet a whole new group of women, and it turned out to be a very supportive community. Interestingly, I found out that I had friends in common with some of these ladies. It created an incredibly supportive female community, which isn’t always easy to come by.
Ironically, one of the most supportive female community groups in the city was Barre Method in my neighborhood. It’s closed now, and we all really miss it. It was a place where women, whether going through pregnancy, the prenatal and postnatal stages, or of all ages, came together to build a strong community. Some of those women were actually at the Galentine’s Day event.
As I mentioned, the connections reached far and wide. A friend of mine who’s a realtor in Honor is also connected to that group. So, creating a positive female community experience was something I wouldn’t have initially expected.”

Despite initial concerns about the cost of the vitamin C product, she provided precise instructions, and it turned out to be the best value I’ve ever had, lasting longer than expected.

“This is hilarious. When I realized that my skin was luminous, it really lifted me up. Then a man whose opinion I care about told me that my skin was glowing, which was a reinforcement. But this is actually funny. I was in North Beach on Grant Alley Street and ran into someone I haven’t seen in 22 years. She’s in great shape, a little bit older than I am. We used to work out together. She’s had plenty of work done, and she hollers across the street, “Betsy, have you had a facelift?” Of course, I haven’t had any surgical procedures, and I thought to myself, “Oh my goodness, this works.”
I mean, you talk about it, and she hollered it for the world to hear. It was quite funny. That’s just an anecdote, but it’s very hard to know what we look like in the mirror, and we’re all hypercritical of photos. So, to have someone respond like that was pretty uplifting.”
“Jennifer was at another Med Spa at 450 Center for quite a while. There was a pioneering doctor there who actually might have been the first to do laser hair removal in the city and also IPL treatments. That’s where I first met her. I didn’t see her exclusively, but I saw her a lot for laser hair removal. She also did filler injections, and I had facials and various other services.
Then, when she moved, I had a ton of respect for her, and I wanted to follow her.”
“Well, I tried the IPL, and it’s almost too good to be true. I wasn’t expecting it to be so powerful, but almost immediately, my skin was luminous. What really drove it home for me is that I referred my next-door neighbor, and she got the IPL too. I looked at her skin and saw that same luminous, glowing quality, and I’m thinking, “Oh my God, I look like that too.”
She got the new super-duper FDA-approved needling device, and it was just amazing. I had plenty of needling before, and it was always positive, but this was more intense and delivered really great results, especially around my lips and jawline.
So, those two things stand out the most from the IPLs and one needling session that I’ve probably had of any procedure or service I’ve ever had on my face. I thought I would see an improvement, but it’s significant. I don’t know how long it’s been; we can ask Jenn, of course, but I actually had a scar by my lip go away. It didn’t happen until this month, and it just started diminishing. So, long-term effects? Yeah, it’s the real deal.”
