So my initial concern was just kind of like under-eye hollowness that I had previously filled and was starting to wear off and then I was also interested in getting a Dysport for the first time and had kind of noticed some fine lines especially with like smiling and kind of like those pesky elevens kind of forming. So that’s initially why I wanted to go see her.
So I actually was recommended to her by a coworker at one of my jobs. She’d been working with her and seeing her for a few months. That’s why really, just word of mouth.

I have seen other practitioners for one of the filler procedures that she’s done for me, which was the teardrop filler. I’ve been to another provider a couple of times and then the third time I got them filled was with Jennifer. What sets her apart is that she is such a light hand in the sense that I don’t want to say it’s not painful, but she was really good about explaining what was happening while it was happening, which was kind of new to me to experience from a provider. And then her work obviously spoke for itself, because once I left there I was minimally bruised, and not overfilled. It was the best! I really wish I started with her first all those years ago.
I think probably one of the best things that she does is she’s really transparent with me when it comes to where she thinks I might bruise just depending on the injection site, which is really nice. So she can, you know, she’ll oftentimes advise me, you know, I think this is probably going to […]

I think probably one of the best things that she does is she’s really transparent with me when it comes to where she thinks I might bruise just depending on the injection site, which is really nice. So she can, you know, she’ll oftentimes advise me, you know, I think this is probably going to bruise a little bit, so you might need to cover it up with a little bit of makeup. But otherwise, the bruising has been so minimal. She is also pretty transparent if I think things are going to be sore. But what I really love is that she is available. If I were, I have not had an issue, but I feel as if I could call her any time after the procedure, like if I felt something was off. She is so responsive and really wonderful about that.
I love coming to see her, not only because I know I want to get great results, but because I feel as if I’m just visiting a girlfriend over lunch. Really, the only thing we’re missing is a charcuterie board and a glass of wine to, like, make it that kind of like, cool, kind […]

I love coming to see her, not only because I know I want to get great results, but because I feel as if I’m just visiting a girlfriend over lunch. Really, the only thing we’re missing is a charcuterie board and a glass of wine to, like, make it that kind of like, cool, kind of intimate vibe. She just makes you feel so at ease and she’s also so knowledgeable that I tell her all the time that I just want to sit here and just chat about anything and everything in here with you as you’re like sticking needled in my face, you know? She’s just so calming, the office is so calming, it’s luxurious, but just like a fun catch-up at the same time.
I routinely visit the clinic every six months for Dysport. By the sixth month, I’ve found that I’ve gotten probably 85% of the movement back that I had treated. Going every six months works for me. For filler, depending on the part of my face that I’m getting filler in, it could be every six […]

For filler, depending on the part of my face that I’m getting filler in, it could be every six months to every two years. There have been places in my face that she’s filled that she hasn’t had to touch up for at least a year and a half, going out to two, maybe over a little over two years. So this just kind of depends, but yeah I feel like six months is a good time frame for me, you know, just to space out treatments. I feel like I don’t need it any sooner than that.
Well, because I am an ICU Nurse, a lot of the anatomy and kind of medicalese jargon that providers use, I understand, which makes it easier for her to explain what she’s trying to do and the anatomy and the musculature and procedures that she’s going to do. I also find that I can research […]

Well, because I am an ICU Nurse, a lot of the anatomy and kind of medicalese jargon that providers use, I understand, which makes it easier for her to explain what she’s trying to do and the anatomy and the musculature and procedures that she’s going to do. I also find that I can research things that I want done and talk to her about it kind of on a more professional matter, which makes a difference. I don’t know if it makes me a tougher patient per se, but it definitely, I think, makes me a more well-informed patient and know what to expect, which definitely helps.
I’m so satisfied with the results that I’ve had lately that I really don’t have anything extra that I have in mind that I want to do other than just kind of par for the course, keep going, and kind of keep looking how I’m looking. And as far as Jennifer’s role, I hope for […]

Probably the biggest piece of advice I would give is to be completely transparent with your provider about the things that are worrying you about your face. I feel as if sometimes people think that this one certain thing that’s bothering them is too silly to bring up. I just feel as if complete transparency with a provider is necessary because, you know if you’re worried about a certain thing and you think there’s only one way to treat it, when in reality there might be multiple ways to treat it, is important. And then also, realizing that it takes about 2-4 weeks after getting any kind of…well for me anyways, any type of treatments, for things to settle down. So the Dysport doesn’t kick in for almost like 10 days after. So if you have an event or something that you’re hoping to get results from, you really do have to time manage that kind of appropriately. One great thing about Jenn is that you can tell her this one big event I’m having in the next few months and she’s really good about giving you a proper timeline of when you should get treatments done or what you should get treated to achieve the results that you’re looking for.
When I started contemplating filler and Dysport, it was in the hopes of looking younger or looking, you know, similar to who I was when I was in my twenties, and that has now completely changed. It’s not so much a goal. It’s not so much to look younger or to look like I did […]

When I started contemplating filler and Dysport, it was in the hopes of looking younger or looking, you know, similar to who I was when I was in my twenties, and that has now completely changed. It’s not so much a goal. It’s not so much to look younger or to look like I did in my twenties and thirties, but more just in wanting to keep looking my best, and you know, it’s kind of like looking refreshed and just feeling my best. This kind of like wanting to, it just doesn’t make any sense to want to look 20 years younger. Does that make sense? Like a more refreshed version of myself, I think, you know, I really enjoy looking at myself in the mirror and being like, man, I feel like I don’t have to do much of anything to my face today. Just a little bit of mascara, maybe a lipstick, and I’m out the door, you know, and I feel as if filler and Botox definitely make that happen or help in the process of that happening.
What I love about Dysport filler is that it’s just so much more widely accepted now and people are being just so much more transparent about the things that they’re receiving and getting done. I really feel as if Dysport and filler are a big tool in kind of like the arsenal of just making […]

What I love about Dysport filler is that it’s just so much more widely accepted now and people are being just so much more transparent about the things that they’re receiving and getting done. I really feel as if Dysport and filler are a big tool in kind of like the arsenal of just making yourself feel your best and look your best. It’s always just so fascinating to me just how just a little bit of filler here or there will really kind of give you this more refreshed look. The stigma of having this overfilled face is just not the reality, which I think is pretty awesome. And just how aesthetic medicine just kept changing to provide these, really amazing results. Not so much stopping the lock, but just making you feel your best with minimal effort on your part.
