Denise R.

Denise graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences. Prior to attending PA school, Denise worked as an emergency medical technician in both the ambulance and the emergency room and volunteered at a free clinic providing Sculptra treatment to HIV-positive patients suffering from facial lipoatrophy–an experience that deepened her commitment to both compassionate care and aesthetic medicine.

Denise earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Stanford School of Medicine PA Program, where she was also the first PA student to serve as a teaching assistant in the Clinical Anatomy Department. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

After completing her PA studies, Denise began her career in pediatric cardiac surgery at Stanford Children’s, where she practiced for about four years. She later expanded her expertise into breast surgical oncology, gaining a strong foundation in perioperative management and reconstructive collaboration. Her passion for the fusion of science and aesthetics ultimately led her to the Deschamps-Braly Clinic, where she is honored to contribute to a field that combines the art and precision of facial feminization surgery. She is proud to support patients in their deeply personal and transformative journeys.

Outside of the operating room, Denise enjoys exploring fashion, driving and learning about cars, exercising, community service, and spending time with her two beloved sassy dogs.
