Jack Jones

Jack was born and raised in Folsom, California (a suburb of Sacramento). He graduated cum laude from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA with a B.A. in Health, Exercise, and Sports Sciences with a minor in Biological Sciences. He then worked as a medical scribe in several emergency departments throughout the greater Sacramento region. His experience as a medical scribe was incredibly valuable and is where he discovered the Physician Assistant profession, captivating his attention to their ability to practice medicine in collaboration with physicians. Shortly thereafter, he was accepted to join the inaugural class of Physician Assistant students at the University of the Pacific, where he obtained a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree in 2019. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Upon graduation, he started his career in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento. He then moved to the city of San Francisco in 2021, where he worked in the Cardiac Surgery program at Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco. After developing an immense amount of knowledge and respect for the operating room, Jack decided he wanted a more collaborative relationship with his attending surgeon where he could utilize his surgical skills in a more intimate setting. He started with the Deschamps-Braly Clinic in early 2023.

For fun, he enjoys spending time with his husband, playing the guitar, cooking, weightlifting, photography, traveling, community involvement, and playing with Butters his French Bulldog.
