What is Juvéderm?

How Does Juvederm Work?

Juvéderm works by replenishing hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring molecule in the skin that helps retain moisture and volume. As we age, our natural HA levels decrease, leading to wrinkles, folds, and volume loss.

Each Juvéderm product is formulated with a smooth, gel-like consistency that integrates seamlessly with the skin’s tissues. Once injected, the filler immediately adds volume, smoothing lines or augmenting features such as the lips or cheeks. Results are visible right away and continue to improve as the product settles naturally into the treated area.

Advanced formulations like Juvéderm Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella also contain lidocaine for enhanced comfort during treatment. How Long Does Juvéderm Last?

The longevity of Juvéderm depends on the specific product used, the treated area, and your individual metabolism. However, most patients enjoy results lasting between 9 months and 2 years.

• Juvederm Voluma (for cheeks and midface): up to 24 months
• Juvederm Vollure (for nasolabial folds): up to 18 months
• Juvederm Volbella (for lips and fine lines): up to 12 months
