This 2015 letter in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is the authors’ reply in an exchange about a 2014 article, “Facial Feminization Surgery: The Forehead. Surgical Techniques and Analysis of Results.” In a letter published in the same issue, Douglas K. Ousterhout, M.D., D.D.S., raised concerns about the article, noting his own published classification system for forehead feminization and that not all patients have a frontal sinus.
